Hot Tub Dreams!

I have always wanted to have my very own hot tub in my back garden. Just to be able to come home from work, crack open a bottle of wine and sit in the bubbling tub would be amazing!

And when it is a really cold, winter evening you could dart out and sit in the warm water! You would be able to see all the steam floating in the air and how cold everything else is – but you would be warm and relaxed!

Also, I could have hot tub parties with my friend and we could all chill on a Saturday night with a glass of champagne without a care in the world.

Unfortunately a hot tub though is in the thousands of pounds so I best pick the right lottonummers and then I can buy myself one and enjoy the dream!

Fashion Design Advice

On a more personal note than my usual blogging, I need some advice.

I'm a bit of an amateur fashion designer in my own time. I've always loved fashion and designed things for myself, altered clothes I've bought to make them the way I want, and now I figure that with all my fashion experience and passion I should maybe give it a go.

I'm looking at taking an animation and zbrush tutorial to help me bring my drawn designs to life in a digital format - is that a good idea? I figured it'd be a good way to design and really be able to see my designs come to life, in a more 3D format than with pen and paper.

I want to create a few of my designs as a starter, then see about selling. Watch this space!

Wishful Thinking

Who wants to wear any kind of women’s casual tops when you can wear this:

I would be in this all day, everyday if I could afford it! It is amazing!

It is worn by Beyonce at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala. She looks amazing and her curves look stunning in the dress. I want it!

Going On A Charity Shop Rummage

Everyone loves the vintage look these days, but some vintage store prices are obscenely overpriced, they get away with a ridiculous mark up on second hand products.

A friend of mine introduced me to an alternative: charity shop shopping!

While I first thought it sounded about as enjoyable as genital warts treatment, I actually got really into it and found some great items!

They have a lot of high street brand clothing and bags, and sometimes you strike it lucky with an amazing designer find! These are generally a little more costly, but usually a far cry from the equivalent in vintage stores. They can be great if you want that vintage unbranded look too, as some of the clothes are unrecognisable from anything on the high street!

And all your spending goes to a good cause, so you can feel extra good about your new wardrobe!

A strike of luck for my wardrobe!

I've been poring over the ASOS sale since I blogged about it this week, there are just too many beautiful things! I mean, look at this dress:

How could I possibly not own such a thing?

So, I was brain storming some money saving ideas with my friends so I could afford all these inevitable purchases, and one of them was telling me about a website she used to compare electricity prices. I went on and compared my own and saw how much money I could save - it's almost embarrassing how much I'd been paying beforehand!

And so I will be using that saving for some more summer wardrobe bargains!

I also just bought a new bike, and though it was a bit of a cost in itself I'll save a bundle in Oyster card fares, and I'll get nice and toned, making me look fab in my new summer clothes
